About Open Studios
Silicon Valley Open Studios was initiated in 1985-86 by a small group of artists from San Jose. Over time, it has grown from a small local show to a significant cultural event that connects over 5,000 patrons of the arts with the growing number of artists in our diverse and wonderful Valley. Artist participation has grown over 30% year after year, to reach over 470 artists in 2004.
